The BRICS Policy Center publishes the policy brief “Opportunities and Challenges of BRICS Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence”, authored by Dr. Tianjiao Jiang, vice-director and professor at the BRICS Studies Center of Fudan University, China.

The text analyzes the challenges and opportunities of cooperation in artificial intelligence among the BRICS countries, addressing topics such as digital sovereignty, technological infrastructure, data governance, capacity building, and the development of multilateral mechanisms for more inclusive AI governance.

The policy brief reaffirms the BPC’s commitment to the debate on global governance, technological innovation, and South-South cooperation.
