The BRICS Policy Center (BPC/PUC-Rio) contributed to the report “Brazil in the BRICS (2025),” published by Acrópole Publicações, which analyzes the main outcomes of the 17th BRICS Summit held in Brazil.
BPC Director Marta Fernández and researcher Carolina Salgado contributed to the publication alongside Marianna Albuquerque, Fernando Brancoli, Tadeu Morato Maciel, Diego Pautasso, Maurício Metri, Kenzo Seto, and Carlos Milani.
The report brings together experts from different institutions to reflect on the challenges and prospects of BRICS in a context of transformations in global governance and the bloc’s expansion. Among the topics addressed are economic and financial cooperation, sustainable development, multilateralism, the promotion of peace, and the strategic impacts of BRICS on Brazil and the Global South.
