Task Force 3 coordinator, professor and researcher Ana Garcia presented recommendations at the T20 Mid-Term Conference

At the beginning of the month, during the T20 Mid-Term Conference, Professor Ana Garcia, coordinator of Task Force 3, presented the summary of the recommendations drawn up by her team. Also at the table were representatives of the other T20 Task Forces: Clara Brenck (FT 1), Maiara Folly (FT 2), Vera Thorstensen (FT 4), Bruno Bioni (FT 5) and Melina Risso (FT 6).

Among the recommendations presented were:
1. Reform the IMF’s lending policy.
2. Expand financing in local currency by the MDBs.
3. Improve the G20 Common Framework.
4. Accelerate work on the UNFCITC.
5. Improve the allocation of IMF resources to achieve the SDGs.
