Luisa Lobato
Professor at the Institute of International Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Academic Coordinator of the PUC-Rio Digital Humanities Lab. She holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, a master’s degree in International Relations from the same institution, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of the Amazon (UNAMA). She was a visiting researcher at the Institut de Hautes Études Internationales et du Développement (IHEID) in Geneva. For over 10 years, she has been working on topics related to digital technologies and international politics from the perspective of International Security and Science and Technology Studies, with publications and teaching activities on topics such as cybersecurity, algorithmic governance, artificial intelligence, and technology policy.
