Argiro Moudatsou

Argiro Moudatsou, research fellow in BRICS Policy Center (2019-2020) holds a degree in Economics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece), a Master in Econometrics from Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece), and a Ph.D in Applied Economics from Technische Universitaet Berlin(Germany)

She is Associate Professor in Economics in Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU)

Over the past ten years in addition to her academic duties, she worked as a partner in the Research Secretary of the Greek Econometric Institute, in the structure of Econometric Model of Greek Economy. Also she held various administration posts; 2018-2019 Director of Postgraduate Programm in Tourism Studies (HMU-School of Management and Economics, 2016-2018 Head of Business Administration Department- HMU-School of Management and Economics, 2008-2011 Head of Internal Evaluation Committee of Tourism Department HMU , School of Management and Economics.

Her principal research interests concern the field of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Multinational Enterprises Activities in Developing Countries. Her recent research interests are in the field of Economic Growth , Income Inequalities and Emerging Economies issues, with focus on the economies of BRICS.
