Netherlands Embassy visit BPC to discuss the Center’s agenda and future plannings

On June 12th, 2019, BRICS Policy Center welcomed the Consulate General of the Dutch Embassy, Roland Martin, and the Minister Counsellor, Roderick Wols, for a meeting with the representatives of the center: Andrea Hoffmann, associate professor at the International Relations Institute of PUC-Rio, and Thalyta Ferraz, Project and Communication Manager.

The objective of the meeting was to present the projects and programs developed by BPC, such as LACID and GSUM for instance, as well as a general overview of BPC’s participation in Summit 2019 that is to be hosted by Brazil in November this year. Moreover, the meeting brought discussions about the role of civil society concerning the new political scene in Brazil and its different impacts on social, economic and foreign policies of the country.
