Deputy Director of the BRICS Policy Center, Maria Elena Rodriguez, in an interview with CGTN newspaper, stressed the importance of Brazil taking advantage of its leadership in the bloc to present a solid sustainability agenda and debate climate issues, especially in connection with COP30. She also advocated more transparency and clear criteria in the enlargement of the group to strengthen the bloc’s governance.
