Debate: What if we put peace at the center of politics?

The BRICS Policy Center/PUC-Rio will hold a debate on June 3rd at 11:00 AM entitled “What if we put peace at the center of politics?”, with the participation of Fransérgio Goulart, Ingri Bøe Buer, Thainã de Medeiros, and Luis Gouveia Jr.

The meeting will promote a discussion on the dynamics of peace and conflict, with a special focus on Rio de Janeiro. Among the topics addressed are police and structural violence, as well as the role of community activism in building alternatives and pathways to peace.
