New agreement with the EU-LAC Foundation

PUC-Rio has signed an agreement with the European Union – Latin America and the Caribbean (EU-LAC) Foundation. The aim of the agreement is to strengthen cooperation ties in the areas of mutual interest to the institutions: the relations between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean and the development of the countries involved.

The partnership includes the exchange of documents and information (publications, databases and collaboration opportunities) relevant to the biregional partnership, the organization and holding of congresses, seminars and workshops and joint publications. The agreement does not include exchange of students.

Created in 2010 by the Heads of State and Government of the European Union and member states of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, the EU-LAC Foundation aims to promote intergovernmental dialogue in accordance with the bi-regional Action Plan.
