Maria Elena Rodriguez, deputy director of the BRICS Policy Center/PUC-Rio, participated in the Mundioka podcast discussing the topic “BRICS Bank finances high-tech hospital in Brazil: could this initiative be replicated in other BRICS countries?”
The researcher offered her perspective as a BRICS expert, commenting on the group’s interest in the initiative, its importance, and some future prospects. The advantages of the funding for Brazil and the possibility of the SUS (Brazilian Unified Health System) engaging with the project were presented. Furthermore, the high probability of its success being replicated in other countries of the bloc was discussed.
