The BPC/PUC-Rio took part in the opening session of the international seminar “The Evolving BRICS: Enlargement and the New Development Bank”, represented by its director, Marta Fernández.

The BRICS Policy Center of PUC-Rio participated, in hybrid format, represented by its director Marta Fernández, in the opening session of the international seminar “The Evolving BRICS: Enlargement and the New Development Bank”, held at the University of Parma (Italy).

The event brought together researchers from different countries to discuss the role of the BRICS in global governance and the strengthening of the New Development Bank as an instrument of South-South cooperation.

The BPC thanks the BRICS Parma Research Group for the invitation and for fostering academic dialogue on the challenges and perspectives of the Global South.
