The Global South Unit for Mediation (GSUM) is pleased to publish the catalog “GSUM 10 Years: New Horizons in Peace and Conflict Studies.”
The volume was developed based on activities carried out by the Unit in 2024, in celebration of its 10 years of innovative research in the field of Peace and Conflict Studies.
It discusses approaches related to partner projects such as the Creating Safer Space exhibition, the projects (Un)weaving Gazes and X-men, and the virtual encyclopedia Rewriting Peace and Conflict.
These initiatives highlight the transformative role of critical theories—such as postcolonial, decolonial, and feminist thought—in Peace and Conflict Studies.
The project was supported by FAPERJ through the Call for Support to Emerging Research Groups in the State of Rio de Janeiro and by CAPES PrInt.
