Conference: “Strengthening Climate Justice Financing in BRICS”

Location: Centro Cultural de Brasília

This international conference will bring together government representatives, academic researchers, and civil society organizations to discuss financing and climate justice. Engaging with the themes raised by Brazil during its BRICS presidency in 2025, particularly its emphasis on climate finance, as well as its presidency of COP30, the event aims to advance discussions on these pressing global challenges.

The conference is organized by the Socio-Environmental Platform of the BRICS Policy Center (BPC), in partnership with FASE, the International Association for People’s Cooperation (Baobab), the Tricontinental Institute, and with support from the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS).
