BRICS+ and Global Governance – Brazil’s Presidency of the Group

The BRICS Policy Center invites everyone to the lecture “BRICS+ and Global Governance: Brazil’s Presidency of the Group”, featuring Ambassador Mauricio Carvalho Lyrio. The event will take place on April 14 at 4:00 PM (BRT) via the Zoom platform.

Ambassador Mauricio Carvalho Lyrio is Brazil’s sherpa for BRICS and the G20, as well as the Secretary for Economic and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since April 2023. He is responsible for coordinating negotiations in multilateral economic organizations such as the WTO and the OECD, in addition to overseeing MERCOSUR’s extra-regional negotiations.
