Professor Sérgio Veloso, coordinator of the BRICS-Urbe program, represented the BRICS Policy Center (BPC) at the recent U20 Partners Meeting. The event was an opportunity to discuss planning for the 2024 U20 cycle, as well as to align priorities related to the G20.
During the meeting, the importance of involving various international partners and exchanging ideas on possible forms of engagement was highlighted. Professor Veloso stressed the relevance of strengthening international collaborations to promote sustainable urban policies that meet the G20 objectives, reaffirming the role of the BPC as a key actor in this global dialog.
