Ana Garcia, professor and general coordinator of the BRICS Policy Center, gave an interview to the InfoMoney newspaper, discussing the role and geopolitical strength of the group. Issues such as the increase in the number of members of the bloc were also clarified by the professor during the interview. “BRICS has become this pole of attraction, both ideologically and economically. Obviously (the expansion) is a very interesting policy for China and today, gradually, also for Russia, which sees the expansion of its ever wider and more representative zones of influence as an ‘asset’ of power,” she said.
