Venezuela: New Scenarios, Old Problems

The BRICS Policy Center invites everyone to the debate “Venezuela: New Scenarios, Old Problems”, which will take place on October 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the BRICS Policy Center headquarters in Laranjeiras.

The event aims to offer a comprehensive reflection on the current situation in Venezuela. On this occasion, Venezuelan Professor Manuel Eugenio Gándara (UFRJ) will discuss how structural and historical challenges — such as political instability, hyperinflation, and internal tensions — intersect with the current geopolitical context, marked by growing tensions with the United States.
