The researcher at BPC/PUC-Rio and professor at IRI/PUC-Rio, Carlos Frederico Coelho, gave an interview to the newspaper O Globo, in which he analyzed Donald Trump’s speech on September 23, 2025, during the UN General Assembly. Furthermore, the researcher emphasizes the importance of upcoming speeches at the UN, given that they will serve as an indicator of possible progress in institutional arrangements. He believes that Brazil, like other countries, will need to seek small multilateral consensuses, as the difficulty of relying on the United States becomes increasingly evident.
