With less than a month to go until the G20, professor and co-coordinator of T20 Task Force 3, Ana Garcia, gave an interview to Band TV’s Jornal do Rio, and pointed out that even after the crisis scenarios were contained, the G20 has lost its strength, and in addition to reforming the International Financial Architecture in order to avoid major financial crises, it is now also dealing with climate change, employment issues and women’s rights.

She also points out that the G20, more than just a meeting of world leaders, has left a legacy as an experience, playing an important role in shaping citizens interested in international politics and global debates.
