On August 19, Ana Garcia gave an interview to the Argentine news portal Télam about the geopolitical aspects of the BRICS, the expansion of the bloc and the main financial agenda to be debated. With regard to the accession of new members, Ana says that the bloc should give a positive signal, but that the criteria for entry will still be debated. With regard to the financial aspect, she explains the importance of the de-dollarization project and draws attention to the difficulties it faces in being put into practice.
