The director of IRI/PUC-Rio, Isabel Rocha de Siqueira, took part in the panel entitled “Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty”, on the G20 Rio Capital stage at Rio Innovation Week.
The main objective of the panel was to promote a collaborative discussion between international leaders, non-governmental organizations and experts, with the aim of strengthening global partnerships and developing effective strategies to combat hunger and poverty on a global scale. The director’s presence at the event reinforces IRI’s commitment to contributing to solutions in the face of global challenges such as hunger.

Recently, the director published a dossier on Hunger on Brazil’s National and International Agenda, produced collaboratively with students and graduates from the Academic Graduate Program; graduates from our professional master’s program (MAPI); and undergraduate students participating in IRI’s Scientific Initiation.
