The Director of BPC/PUC-Rio, Professor Marta Fernández, participated in the preparation of a report for the Global South Research Centre (GSRC).
The BRICS Policy Center (PUC-Rio) is part of an international research project on industrialization in the Global South, coordinated by the Global South Research Centre (GSRC), linked to the Center for International Knowledge on Development (CIKD) in China.
Within this initiative, the director of BPC, Professor Marta Fernández, participated in the preparation of the report “Promoting Industrialization in the Global South in a New Global Landscape,” which analyzes the trajectories and challenges of industrialization in different countries of the Global South.
BPC’s contribution focuses on the Brazilian case, with the participation of researchers Maria Elena Rodriguez, Ana Garcia, and Lucas Carames.
The project also includes other publications on development financing, South-South cooperation, global value chains, and industrialization in different regions, strengthening the international dialogue on development from the Global South.
