The BRICS Policy Center researcher, Ana Garcia, and the BPC Director, Marta Fernández, taught classes at the BRICS+ Summer School at UFBA

On March 11 and 24, Ana Garcia and Marta Fernández, our researchers from BRICS+ at the BRICS Policy Center, taught classes at the BRICS+ Summer School at the Federal University of Bahia in Salvador.

Professor and BRICS+ researcher Ana Garcia addressed the topic “The History of BRICS+ Cooperation”, while Marta Fernández, director of the BPC and BRICS+ researcher, gave a lecture on “BRICS+ and the Challenge of Social Inequality”.

Finally, on March 24, Marta Fernández participated as a commentator in the Inaugural Lecture of the Graduate Program in International Relations at the Federal University of Bahia, titled “Political Orient, World Majority, or Global South? A Temporal Perspective on the Role of BRICS in the Post-Western World”, delivered by Professor Fabiano Mielniczuk (UFRGS).
