The BRICS Policy Center, NuBRICS, and REBRIP held the event “BRICS+: Where Are We and Where Are We Going?”
On November 7, the BRICS Policy Center, in collaboration with the BRICS Studies Center (NuBRICS) at the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and the Brazilian Network for People’s Integration (REBRIP), held the event “BRICS+: Where Are We and Where Are We Going?”. The meeting, part of the “BRICS+ in Dialogue” series, brought together around 30 participants for an in-depth discussion about the future of the bloc.
With participation from researchers from different institutions, including professors Paulo Gabriel Hilu da Rocha Pinto and Eduardo R. Gomes (UFF), Graciela Rodriguez (REBRIP), and Marta Fernández, Maria Elena Rodriguez, and Sérgio Veloso (BPC), the discussion focused on the outcomes of the 16th BRICS Summit, held in Kazan. The panelists analyzed the continuities and changes in the bloc’s agenda, the progress and challenges faced, and the perspectives of member countries in the international context. The audience actively contributed with questions and comments, enriching the discussion.
