The BRICS Policy Center invites everyone to the event “Dialectical Assumptions on Socialism and Planning in Today’s China”, on March 17 at 5 PM, featuring Elias Jabbour.

Jabbour is the author of six books and dozens of academic and opinion articles. In 2023, he won the Special Book Award of China for his book “China: The Socialism of the 21st Century”, co-written with Alberto Gabriele. The book, translated into English, is a bestseller in Brazil with 32,000 copies sold. Jabbour has also served as a senior consultant at the Research Directorate of the New Development Bank (NDB) in Shanghai (China) and is currently the President of the Instituto Pereira Passos.
