The BRICS Policy Center held the third dialog in the series “Conjuntura Internacional: e eu com isso?” with the theme: Homeless Population: A New SDG, A New Look

On September 25, the BRICS Policy Center held at its headquarters in Laranjeiras, the third dialogue in the series “Conjuntura Internacional: e eu com isso?”, with the theme: Homeless Population: A New SDG, A New Look, with the participation of Flávio Lino, from the National Homeless Population Movement. The debate was open to the public, mediated by BPC director Marta Fernandéz, and addressed the issue of the homeless population in the context of the G20, highlighting the main public policy difficulties faced. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions about the T20 agenda, public health policies and projects related to the issue, which were answered by Flávio Lino in a very rich and enlightening talk.
The dialogues are being held in partnership with the Mais Democracia Institute, Casa 11- Sebo e Livraria, Observatório de Favelas and Rebrip and aim to promote conversations about how international issues affect people’s daily lives, especially the most vulnerable.
