Sustainable infrastructure in environmentally-sensitive regions
Next Wednesday, August 7, the BRICS Policy Center will hold an important debate within the framework of the G20, on opportunities and challenges to promote infrastructure with environmental sustainability, climate resilience and social inclusion, highlighting cases in Panamazonia (Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia).
This webinar offers an opportunity for knowledge exchange among participants, focusing on strengthening planning instruments and decision-making processes to promote sustainable infrastructure in environmentally sensitive areas, including innovative approaches.
Speakers will also discuss how national and multilateral public financial institutions, together with private investors, can play important roles in supporting the construction and implementation of pathways for sustainable, resilient and inclusive infrastructure in environmentally sensitive regions, including strengthening upstream planning based on innovative and participatory methodologies.
