Seminar “The Right to the City on the Global Stage: How do major events and international summits transform Rio de Janeiro?”

The Institute of International Relations at PUC-Rio and its think tank, the BRICS Policy Center, will hold the seminar “Right to the City on the Global Stage: How Major Events and International Summits Transform Rio de Janeiro?” on June 18. The event will bring together researchers, activists, and community leaders to discuss the urban impacts of the World Cup, the Olympic Games, the G20, and more recently, the BRICS Summit on the daily life of the city. The seminar will take place at 9:30 AM at the BRICS Policy Center headquarters (Rua das Laranjeiras, 307, third floor – Laranjeiras).
