Save the date: Joint Declaration of the Convergence Dialogue

The result of cooperation between the T20 and C20 engagement groups, the “Joint Declaration of the Convergence Dialogue” will be launched on July 3 in Rio de Janeiro. The document is a joint effort by the TF2, TF3 and TF5 task forces and the WG1, WG3 and WG7 working groups of the T20 and C20 respectively.

The launch takes place as a side event of the T20 Mid Term Conference, which will be held on July 2 and 3 in Rio de Janeiro.

The document focuses on three themes: the economy, the environment and digitalization. The first meeting to start drafting the text took place in May, at the BRICS Policy Center headquarters, with the aim of jointly thinking about priorities and recommendations to be presented to the G20.

The BRICS Policy Center invites researchers, journalists and other interested parties to the event. Save the date in your diary.
