The III Meeting of the BRICS New Development Bank

The Socio-environmental Radar is a monthly publication focused on the environmental news related to the five BRICS countries. Each month a theme is chosen and news on the subject will be published. In its 22nd edition, the Socio-environmental Radar analyses the results of the Third Meeting of The New Development Bank (NDB), the BRICS Bank.

This publication aims to give an overview of the meeting, based on the analysis of the press releases and the content of the final documents of the encounter, to carry out a survey out of the new projects approved by the Bank, as well as to analyze the current status of projects in progress. Finally, some considerations are presented about the implementation of the projects already approved by the bank, as well as the socio-environmental impacts of the initiatives.
