The BRICS towards Rio+20: China

As part of the preparatory process for the Rio +20 conference, each participating country sent to the United Nations documents expressing its individual position and a set of proposals to be defended during the event. In this BRICS Monitor, in order to understand the position of the BRICS countries for Rio + 20, we will give a brief account of the proposals and principles to be defended by the People’s Republic of China as found in the document National Submission of the People’s Republic of China on the UN Conference on Sustainable Development in 2012.
