The BASIC and the Biennial Reports for the Climate Convention’s Update

Among the BASIC countries, only Brazil and South Africa presented their First Biennial Update Report (BUR 1) in December 2014, according to the stipulated deadline. Recently, in March 2017, Brazil presented its Second BUR, while India had presented its first in January 2016 and China only in February of this year. This edition of RADAR aims to briefly review the content of the latest BURs submitted by Brazil, South Africa, India and China.
