Perceptions and Preferences in BRICS before New Delhi’s Summit
The Indian proposal of a BRICS bank to finance projects in emerging countries was strengthened in the meeting between the Indian chancellor, S.M Krishna, and his Chinese counterpart, Yang Jiechi. India preferred the rotating presidency of the bank, and China wanted more power in the institution based on its economic size.
