Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (MACAO)

This fact sheet outlines an overview about the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (Forum Macao). The document contais details on the relations between the  members of the forum driven by the cooperation mechanism, especially in the economic, commercial, cultural and educational spheres. In addition, the fact sheet adresses China’s position and particpatory relevance in major commercial exchanges and project finance in these countries. The forum was created in 2003 and it has, besides China, eight Portuguese-Speaking Countries as members today.
