Digital Inequality

Advances in technology in the 21st century have played a leading role in everyday life in a wide range of areas, enabling widespread and instant global connections and facilitating communication, information sharing and collaborative work.

Underdeveloped countries suffer from a lack of technological resources, which hinders digital access for these populations and directly affects their development, especially in the work industry on digital platforms.

Therefore, the issue of digital inequality will be addressed here, taking into account the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing the problem of unequal access to technologies and its impact on the development of countries, especially in Latin America.
