COP 14 – Convention on Biological Diversity
The Socioenvironmental Radar is a monthly publication focusing on environmental news about the five BRICS countries. Each month a topic is chosen on a subject. In it’s 25th edition, the Socioenvironmental Radar analyses the results of the 14th Conference of Parties (COP) of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
This edition provides an overall view of the CBD and its protocols, presents the summit’s agenda as well as the concerns and positions from Brazilian civil society organizations, as a way to bring light to the topics discussed by the Parties. The final section points to the results of the summit through published documents and the current Brazilian conjecture.
