Climate Ambition of the BRICS: Brazil

In this new study, the BRICS Policy Center’s Socio-Environmental Platform provides a detailed analysis of Brazil’s climate ambition, as the country prepares to host COP 30 in 2025. The work, authored by Maria Beatriz Mello, is part of the research project “The Climate Ambition of BRICS Countries”, supported by the Climate and Society Institute (iCS). The research monitored the climate ambitions, initiatives, and positions of the bloc’s members before its expansion in 2024.
