BRICS Climate Ambition: Russia

In this new study, the BRICS Policy Center’s Socio-Environmental Platform provides a detailed analysis of the climate ambition of Russia, the world’s fifth largest emitter of greenhouse gases. The work, authored by Caroline Boletta, is part of the research project “The Climate Ambition of the BRICS countries”, supported by the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS). The research monitored the climate ambitions, initiatives and positions of the bloc’s members ahead of its expansion in 2024.
