The Latin American chapter of the Network of Southern Think-Tanks (NeST LATAM) is organizing the first edition of the NeST LATAM Winter School on South-South and Triangular cooperation: Multistakeholder partnerships and financing for development.
It is a 45-hour course and will provide a rigorous introduction to fundamental concepts, theories and perspectives of SSTrC, as well as to its actors and processes. In our advanced courses, the participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of (i) the international development cooperation agenda; (ii) instruments and modalities; (iii) capacity building; (iv) financing; and (v) monitoring and evaluation. The NeST LATAM Winter School is open to postgraduate students and young professionals (scholars, civil society’s representatives, diplomats, NGO staffers, government officials, lawyers, and international organizations’ employees, among others) interested in international cooperation for development, with a particular focus on issues, questions and experiences related to the Global South. In exceptional cases, undergraduate students with outstanding academic performance, and who intend to pursue a postgraduate degree in international cooperation or related areas, might be accepted.
