Professor Ana Garcia, from UFRRJ and researcher at BPC/PUC-Rio, gave an interview to the Mundioka podcast, from the Sputnik Brasil newspaper, to discuss Africa and BRICS based on her book: “Brazil, BRICS and Africa in the international investment regime: a political economy of South-South relations.”

Throughout the episode, the researcher addresses central themes of her work, such as the role of BRICS as an alternative to the Western axis in the international system and the functions performed by its member countries.

The professor pays special attention to the cases of Angola and Mozambique, countries in which she conducted field research, which allows her an empirical and analytical deepening of the political and economic dynamics addressed both in the interview and in the book.
