Prof. Kai Michael Kenkel participated on Monday, October 14, in the event “Anticipatory Science Diplomacy – a Key Tool to Tackle Global Challenges” at the Consulate General of Switzerland in São Paulo. The event featured Swiss Chancellor Alexandre Fasel, who was in Brazil for bilateral consultations. Anticipatory science diplomacy is an initiative of Swiss foreign policy primarily embodied in the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator. Prof. Kenkel’s presentation added the perspective of the Global South and BRICS countries on diplomatic collaboration in addressing a range of global challenges, including climate change.
