On Wednesday, October 23rd, professors from Renmin University of China, Nankai University, and Peking University attended a meeting at BPC. The dialogue focused on issues such as the G20 Summit and Brazil’s positioning and role in this context. Additionally, the discussion covered the trade relationship between Brazil and China, climate change, and Brazil’s agenda regarding the Silk and Road, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The potential positioning of the countries at the upcoming BRICS Summit, to be held in Brazil in 2025, was also mentioned. Other important topics addressed during the meeting included the elimination of hunger and poverty, UN reform, and the taxation of the super-rich. Lia Frota and Marta Fernandez represented the BPC at the event.
