On October 25, professors Silvia Pinheiro, Sergio Veloso, Jimmy Klausen and administrative coordinator Lia Frota received a Chinese delegation from the SASS think tank, made up of professors from the fields of international relations, history, economics and ecology, as well as the vice-president of the foreign institution

On October 25, professors Silvia Pinheiro, Sergio Veloso, Jimmy Klausen and administrative coordinator Lia Frota received a Chinese delegation from the SASS think tank, made up of professors from the fields of international relations, history, economics and ecology, as well as the vice-president of the foreign institution. During the meeting, they discussed issues involving Brazil-China-Latin America relations, climate change, energy transition, cultural diversities, among others. The BPC professors were able to present their research and possibilities for joint cooperation.

 

SAAS is China’s second largest think tank, with 17 institutes carrying out research and applied studies in the humanities and social sciences, with a special focus on important issues arising from the country’s current social and economic transformation and ongoing reform and development. The SASS Graduate School has 3 doctoral programs and 17 master’s programs with more than 800 students.
