Adjunct Professor II at the Institute of International Relations of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. He holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Chicago (1998), an MA in Political Science from the University of California System (Berkeley, 1999) and a PhD in Political Science from the University of California System (Berkeley, 2005). Recipient of two recent research grants, an American Council of Learned Societies Fellow (2011-2012) and a Race, Ethnicity, Indigeneity Fellow at the Humanities Research Institute of the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2011). He has experience in Political Science, with an emphasis on Political Theory, International Relations Theory and Contemporary Philosophy. He is adjunct coordinator of postgraduate programs and editor-in-chief of the journal Contexto Internacional: Journal of Global Connections.
