Harriet Cansino is a doctoral research student based at Newcastle University, UK. She is currently conducting a research project titled ‘Telenovelas and Transnational Imaginaries: A Study on Subjectivity Production in Northeast Brazil’. She holds a Master’s degree from Newcastle University, and a Master’s and Undergraduate degree from Durham University, UK. Furthermore, she has worked as a Research Assistant on a project at Newcastle University on the idea of ‘Universalisability in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals’, and will collaborate with BPC in the BRICS-Urbe and International Development contexts.
