Short Bio:
Daniela Guzmán Peña is a BRICS Policy Center fellow and Master of International Affairs candidate at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. In Rio de Janeiro, Daniela researches and produces content for the UNDP World Center for Sustainable Development, Centro Rio+, focusing on grassroots initiatives that advance the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development at a local level. At SIPA, her focus is on economic and political development in Latin America with a special interest in post-conflict social integration and development. She has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida and a certificate in Urban Planning and Urban Studies from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. She has reported for several publications in the United States with a special focus on risk, governance and anticorruption issues. She is from Bogotá, Colombia.
