New LACID publication on the air

LACID’s new publication is out! LACID coordinator Maria Elena Rodriguez, together with researchers Rafaela Mello Rodrigues de Sá, Octávio Henrique Alves Costa de Oliveira and Renan Guimarães Canellas de Oliveira, have published the Policy Brief on “The Role of Multilateral Development Banks in Financing the Energy Transition in South America” with its respective translation. The paper presents the main characteristics of the role of the MDBs in the debate on financing the energy transition. To this end, the Policy Brief examines not only the banks’ institutional initiatives and strategies, but also seeks to understand the climate goals of the energy sector in the main multilateral banks operating in Latin America (World Bank, IDB and NDB).
