Meet the new international interns at the BRICS Policy Center/PUC-Rio
In the first semester of 2026, the BPC welcomed 4 international interns who will contribute to our research, publications, and events. They are:
Natalina Popat, from the United Kingdom, participates in the activities of the Socio-environmental Platform, conducting a research entitled “Free, Prior and Informed Content at Sea: Interpreting Indigenous Rights in Contexts of Marine Extractive Exploration”.
Diana Ferreira, from Portugal, works with GSUM, conducting a research in the area of peace processes, international mediation, peacebuilding, and conflict transformation.
Hunter Linton, from the United States, is part of the Political Economy of South-South Relations group, with a project focused on the political economy of soybean supply chains in the Legal Amazon.
Finally, Luis Ehl, from Germany, is in the Critical Approaches to Development group, developing a research that discusses whether high-emitting donors use climate aid to legitimize continued emissions.
