Marta Fernández received Sônia Sun and Duan Shiguang of the Confucius Institute at PUC-Rio

On January 30, the director of the BRICS Policy Center, Marta Fernández, received the director of the Confucius Institute at PUC-Rio, Sônia Sun, and the professor of the Confucius Institute, Duan Shiguang, at the BPC headquarters. At the meeting, which was also attended by BPC fellow Cai Zhaoliang, an agenda of cooperation initiatives for 2024 was discussed, including visits by delegations from Chinese universities, the celebration of China International Day, preparations for the G20, as well as the offer of courses on China to be taught by professors from BPC and the Confucius Institute.
