Marta Fernández, Director of the BRICS Policy Center, gave an interview to Al Jazeera

In an interview with the Qatari channel Al Jazeera, Professor Marta Fernández, Director of the BPC, spoke about the meeting of BRICS Foreign Ministers in Brazil that took place this week. The professor stated that Brazil’s presidency of the BRICS will present a positive agenda—not an anti-U.S. or anti-West agenda—but noted that it is difficult to follow this path, given that the American president has been prioritizing his own agenda, which runs counter to what the group seeks.
